“My official position is that it is high time judges in Nigeria begin to get tough on cases of corruption. It is high time we get serious,” Keyamo said.
On his insistence that Hon. Farouk Lawan should be prosecuted, he said there was no personal interest but that Nigeria may begin to do things in the right way.
“It has nothing to do with me as a person. I think all Nigerians should begin to demand that things be done in the right way. It is the duty of every citizen to ask that justice be done. It is not about how Keyamo feels,” he concluded.
It would be recalled that Keyamo last week gave the Attorney General of the Federation Seven days to arraign Hon. Farouk Lawan on criminal charges failure of which he threatened to invoke some constitutional provisions to take up the case in his private capacity.
