Nollywood Ignites For Pete Eneh’s Burial Today

The remains of Nollywood veteran actor, Pete Eneh would today, January 26, 2013, be committed to mother-earth at his country home in Ibuzo Amaokwe Udi, Enugu State.

In a statement issued out by the South-east vice president of the Actors’ Guild of Nigeria, Barrister Ikechukwu Ezenagu disclosed that they have since last Monday began with a well graced burial arrangement for the late actor, which first held at New Berries Park with all national members of the guild in attendance.
Following, he added that also on Tuesday, a wake-keep was held at his Enugu town house, #5 Hilltop Crescent Ugbene, Abakpa Nike. Also, another wake-keep held at his country home in Ibuzo Amaokwe Udi, until today, January 26, 2013, which marks the final burial rite of the late aged actor.
Eulogizing the dark-skinned thespian, Ezenagu described him as a humble and peaceful man who dedicated so much commitment to the services human and God while on earth, adding that the entertainment industry at large would miss his wise counsel.
Amid tears, the death of the former South-east vice president of the Actors’ Guild of Nigeria, Eneh has continued to receive ceaseless tribute, one is from his colleague and ace comedian, Charles Awurum who went down memory to note that, “if actually you know him, you will pray for God to make him live forever not minding that death is inevitable, because he was a pacifist”.
While praying for the repose of his soul, Diamond Igwe Adaeze, another notable Nollywood act stressed, “I pray that the Almighty God in His infinite mercy would accept his soul, which I know He will. As we pray for the repose of His soul, we should also pray that God will give the family he left behind the fortitude to bear this loss”.
Continuing, the Chairman of the Guild, Imo State branch, Conac Umez, said the refined actor who died in Enugu on Thursday, November 15, 2012 few weeks after one of his legs was amputated due to infections worth to be immortalized.
