Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson, has urged political appointees in the state to be good team players and to render quality service to the people.
He gave the charge on Thursday while swearing in the new Commissioner for Science, Technology and Manpower Development, Mr. Parkinson Macmanuel.
The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Daniel Iworiso-Markson, stated this in a statement on Thursday.
Macmanuel was until his new position, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Secondary Education.
He replaces Mrs. Didi Walson-Jack, who has been moved to Government House as Chief of Staff.
Expressing confidence in the ability of Macmanuel to deliver on his mandate, the governor said there were still challenges in governance in the state and that the Ministry of Science Technology and Manpower Development could assist in solving the problems.
