Ex-militants Impound 5 Crude Oil Laden Badges In Ondo

The Amnesty Programme of the Federal Government yielded a positive result in Ondo state, yesterday, as ex-militants in the state succeeded in seizing 1.65million litres of crude oil from hoodlums in the coastal area of the state.
The ex-militants led by High Chief Bebopiri Ajube who achieved the feat seized five badges loaded with crude oil on Ondo waterways from the hoodlums who burst the nation’s pipelines to steal the product.
The spokesperson of the group who is also the Operations Manager of Ajube’s Gallery Security Services Limited, Mr. Ebi Molos, made this disclosure while taking journalists round the seized items at Bolowo, a riverside community in the Ese Odo local Government Area of the state.
Molos who put the approximated figure of the stolen crude at 1.65m litres, stated in his breakdown that each of the five badges could fill up at least 10 oil tankers which have 33, 000 litre capacity each.
He disclosed further that the ex-militants also seized from the hoodlums, seven speed boats and 14 engines which they removed from other people’s speed boats.
Molos said, “Our Company is registered with the federal government for the security of the riverside areas and to arrest all forms of criminal activities in the area by assisting the government agencies like the Army, the Navy and the Police.
“Most of the government security agents cannot come into the creeks, so we are assisting them to fish out the criminals. It is a great joy that since the establishment of our company, we have been checking the hoodlums.
“We seized the badges, speedboats and engines at the Ondo State border from the hoodlums who were bringing them from Delta and Edo states.
