Gov Lamido Tackles Jibril Aminu Over Comment
Jigawa State Governor Sule Lamido has rebutted the allegation by Senator Jubril Aminu that a committee he headed and which was detailed to resolve the Adamawa state PDP crisis was a creation of Governor’s Forum.
Governor Lamido reaction came in a press statement signed by his director of press Alhaji Umar Kiyari, and was made available to Journalists in Dutse.
The statement explained that the committee on Adamawa was a creation of a forum by President Goodluck Jonathan who as leader of the party was determined to sanity in the party in the State.
It added that the reconciliation committee comprises the Governor of Jigawa state as chairman and Governor of Abia state, PDP legal adviser of the party and Secretary to the Government of the Federation as members.
Others in the committee were PDP national women leader, party publicity secretary, Senator Adamu Gumba, Hon Manu Yusif Shuaibu, BoT secretary, while Special Adviser on politics to the Vice president will serve as secretary of the committee.
“However with regards to my relationship with Governor Nyako, I will at the appropriate time respond to my elder’s assertion of lack of confidence in me” the statement said.
