One person suspected to be a member of terrorist group, Boko Haram was said to have been arrested at Mohammed Abacha’s house in Kano state, North West Nigeria.
Channels Television was informed by a source that a combined team of JTF stormed the house of Mohammed Abacha, the son of former Military Head of State of Nigeria, General Sani Abacha and arrested the individual yesterday.
“I saw them in about five vehicles surrounding the house, after some minutes they came out with the person having covered his face with red rag.”
However, JTF in Kano could not confirm the arrest as the JTF spokesperson, Captain Ikedich Iweha told our Kano correspondent to go to Mohammed Abacha’s house to find out.
“I have also read the story published by Daily Trust but I want you to go to Mohammed’s house to find out.” It is not everything the paper wrote that is true”. Iweha added.
Meanwhile, efforts to contact Mohammed Abacha or his spokesperson were not successful as sources close to Mr. Mohammed told Channels Television that he, along with Major Hamza Al-Mustapha is currently in Abuja.

The man, acting in concert with fellow Jihadists, has never wavered in his promise to make Nigeria ungovernable nor retreated from his sponsorship of the Boko Haram insurgency. So far, more than 10, 000 Nigerians have already been killed. Thousands have been injured and thousands more are now without husbands, wives, mothers and fathers. Furthermore, scores of churches and businesses have been destroyed by the Jihadist insurgents. Collateral damage is everywhere, but not a single person among the Northern Elite sees anything wrong with that picture. As a matter of fact, to further prove that the Northern Elite are in cahoots with the insurgents, a notorious Boko Haram operative was captured inside the home of Mohammed Abacha, late dictator General Sanni Abacha's son two days ago. The 5 Northern governors are busy burning expensive jet fuel as they run around planting Boko Haram seeds all over the Niger Delta. It's funny but dismaying that some Nigerians would rather harangue Dr. Doyin Okupe for calling out the trouble makers in APC instead of condemning the Jihadist Northern Elite's bloody excesses.
