A twenty-eight-year-old security, Lukman, who was accused of armed robbery, has been found dead in police custody in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The suspect, who was a guard at Agodi spare parts shop, was allegedly tortured to death by police officers at Gate 2 Police Division.

He was said to have been arrested and detained last Friday by the police when his employers reported a robbery incident and accused the deceased.
However, when his family went to the station last Sunday to check on him, he was found dead in the police cell.
But when contacted the police public relations Officer (PPRO) DSP Olabisi Clet-Ilobanafor dismissed the report, saying there was no iota of truth in the report as the late Lukman committed suicide.
She insisted that Lukman committed suicide using his clothe ((Jalabia) he wore the night of the incident, saying his cellmates could testify to that.
