Ogun 2015: I’m not afraid of Amosun’s incumbency factor –Isiaka

A governorship aspirant on the platform of the Labour Party in Ogun State, Mr Gboyega Isiaka has said that he was not afraid of power of incumbency as he plans to tackle the state governor in the 2015 governorship race.
Isiaka made his mind known in Abeokuta while speaking with Journalists, saying that he has what it takes to be the next governor of the state.
He explained that with his exposure and leadership quality, he would not be threatened by the incumbency power of Senator Ibikunle Amosun. The Labour Party aspirant who contested against Governor Amosun in 2011 and lost explained that his romance with Labour Party and his resolve to contest under the banner of the party was to make Ogun State a better place for coming generation.
Isiaka expressed optimism that he would secure the Labour Party’s ticket and defeat the ruling Action Congress of Nigeria(ACN) in the next political dispensation in the state. Isiaka expressed outrage over the unresolved crisis in the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP),but revealed that his teeming supporters in both parties have joined him as members of the Labour party.
‘The party is going through transformation and I have relationship with them and I am satisfied with the conduct of the party so far, it is clear as a fast growing party. The party has the capacity, and its time for change,’ he added.
