Aliyu assures Niger residents of security

Governor of Niger State, Dr. Babangida Aliyu
Niger State Governor Babangida Aliyu has assured residents of the state of adequate security.
He, therefore, urged them to continue to go about their normal businesses.
He made the pledge on Wednesday while receiving students of Advanced Defence Intelligence School, Abuja led by Col. Samuel Gbenoba (retd), in Minna.
Aliyu, represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Saidu Idris, said the state attached importance to the security, hence the need for peaceful co-existence among the people.
He also hailed the relationship between the state government and security agencies, especially in tackling security challenges in the state.
Gbenoba said the team was on a study tour of some military formations in the state.
He added that the visit would enable the students to see how intelligence agencies were assisting their immediate communities in resolving security challenges.
