Osaze must be born-again – Keshi

keshiOUT-OF-FAVOUR Super Eagles player and West Brom of England striker Osaze Odemwingie may be out of the national team for a long time if coach Stephen Keshi’s current stance is anything to go by.
Keshi, while fielding questions from journalists in Abuja on Wednesday, reasoned that players like Odemwingie are those he wants in the Eagles but said the player’s attitude is his undoing.
“Osaze is a very good player, I would like to have him in my team, but he has to be ready to work with us in the team,” the ‘Big Boss’ said.
The Super Eagles head coach however hinted that Odemwingie could still be part of the team if he has a change of attitude to national team handlers.
On the March 23 game against the Harambee Stars of Kenya,in Calabar, Keshi said: “The Kenyans have open style of play, they come at you and have stamina aplenty, you have to be tactical to shake them off. You don’t expect me to divulge my tactics for now.
Asked to reveal the fate of one of his potent strikers Emmanuel Emenike, he said.’’ I have been calling his line there is no response.” He said the Eagles have enough quality to replace any missing player.
