The Rivers State Government says it will construct four additional flyovers in Port Harcourt to ease traffic congestion in the state.
The Commissioner for Works, Hon Victor Giadom dropped the hint in an interview with journalists on the update of state projects in his office, recently.
Hon Giadom said the flyovers would be at Peter Odili Road junction by Abuloma-Amadi-Ama intersection and another at Agip junction by Ada-George Road.
He added that another one would be constructed at Wimpey junction by Ada-George Road while a fourth one would be located at Rumuokwuta-Choba Road by Ada-George Road Intersection. The four flyover projects would join the one planned for Garrison and Slaughter by Trans- Amadi.

Hon Giadom, however, expressed dissatisfaction with the contractor handling the Rumuokwuta-NTA Choba Road and drainage system, and charged the contracting firm to give its best, as the state deserved nothing but the best in all its projects.
